Mariée Magazine – a Brazilian publishing company, specialising in fashion for weddings and gala parties – commissioned Rafael to shoot the CC Club essay, published in 2017, in the December edition of the magazine. Rafael worked the brief with the editors and the stylist Miguel Cuenca to find a conceptual idea for the party dresses. They decided to shoot in an abandoned Social Club – contrasting a worn-out ambience against the gala party looks. Giving a psychedelic/lost after-party mood to the shots. Rafael used a mixed set of natural light and flashguns.
